Agave-bandana

Soaked it for a minute before our hike and it stayed nicely damp for the first couple miles, which made a real difference on the sunny switchbacks. My dog seemed way more comfortable at the summit than usual, and the bandana itself is lightweight enough that she forgot she was wearing it.

My pup actually kept his tongue in his mouth for the first mile of our climb, which never happens on hot days. The soak-and-tie method is stupid simple and the fabric dried out nicely without dripping all over the car.
