Sizing

Silhouette of a dog showing where to measure chest (orange line) and neck (blue line) for sizing. Below are size charts for Small, Medium, Large, and XL dog harnesses with chest and neck circumference ranges.

When measuring the chest: Be sure to measure around the widest part of your dogs chest - a couple inches behind the front legs!

When measuring the neck: Be sure to measure around the widest part of your dogs neck - at the base where the harness will sit, not where a collar sits!

If your pup falls between sizes or they are still growing or filling out, we recommend sizing up!

*Heads up! Our harnesses have updated! The new versions will have openings where the strap meets the chest and back panels to tuck in the excess strap tails. If it doesn't reach, just move the tri-glide slider towards the end of the loose strap to hold it down.

Recommended Fit

To put the harness on, simply slip the harness over the dog's head, and clip the two side release buckles at the chest - all 4 paws stay on the ground! Both the neck and shoulder straps are fully adjustable. We designed our harness to fit a bit shorter for maximum breathability. Make sure your pup has enough space between their armpit and the straps, and its a snug but comfy fit!

Our golden retriever used to chew through every harness we tried, but this one has survived three months of daily walks and a muddy camping weekend without a single frayed strap. The multiple adjustment points let me get a snug fit around his chest that he can't back out of, even when he spots a squ

Took this on a rocky trail this weekend and the harness held up perfectly—no chafing, no slipping, even when my pup tried to lunge after a squirrel. The padding around the chest feels sturdy but not bulky, which is exactly what I wanted for both quick sidewalk loops and longer hikes.

The handle wrap is a lifesaver on steep trails—my grip stays put even when my hands get sweaty, and the quick-adjust buckles let me switch from street walk to trail mode in seconds. Has survived three muddy creek crossings and still rinses clean like new.
