The collar stayed soft even after my lab dragged me through muddy water all afternoon, and it didn't hold any of that wet-dog smell. Rinsed both pieces off with the hose and they looked brand new.

Took this to the lake twice and the collar came back dry while my old nylon one would still be soggy the next morning. The leash stays soft in my hand even when wet, which I didn't expect. No stink so far either.

My pup is a lake monster so I've been through so many leashes that reek after one swim. This one truly repels the water and dirt, and it's still soft and flexible even after drying out. No smell at all hanging in the car, which is a total win.
