Swapped my old leather collar for this and my dog barely notices it's on, which is exactly the point. The tightly woven polyester web has held up through muddy trail runs without stretching or fraying. Weighs next to nothing but I'm not worried about it snapping.
Didn't believe 1 inch of polyester web could hold my 70 lb pointer on a trail run, but the weave is tight and it hasn't stretched a bit after two months. Weighs basically nothing on his neck too.
Took this on a backpacking trip and honestly forgot it was on my dog at times. The polyester webbing is tight and sturdy, yet that one-inch width feels surprisingly featherweight. Handles plenty of pulling without adding bulk to my pack.
