My dog dragged me through a muddy creek trail and this collar came out looking brand new after a quick rinse. The material stays soft in my hand instead of getting stiff and crusty like my last one. No lingering wet-dog smell either, which I appreciate more than I expected.
My dog jumped straight into the lake and the collar was dry within minutes, no lingering wet-dog smell. The material still feels soft enough that it doesn't rub his neck raw on long hikes. Rinsing the mud off in the sink took about ten seconds.
Went through a muddy trail run and a creek crossing last weekend, then just wiped the collar clean with a wet thumb. The fabric still feels soft against my hand, no lingering swamp smell on it either.
