Watching my beagle actually work for her kibble instead of inhaling it in four seconds is genuinely entertaining — the suction base holds tight to the bowl so she can't flip it, and licking the little ridges keeps her busy for a solid ten minutes.
The suction ring holds tight enough that my bulldog can't flip the bowl anymore, which was our old dinner ritual. The ridges make him actually sniff and work for each bite instead of vacuuming it down in ten seconds. Mealtime went from chaos to a calm little puzzle.
