The knot sits flat under the chin so it doesn’t bother my pup during our midday hikes, and the cooling effect lasts a solid hour after a quick dunk in the creek. Best few bucks I’ve spent for summer trail days.
Took this up to about 9,000 feet and the wet fabric stayed noticeably cool against her neck for a good hour on the switchbacks. She didn't try to paw it off once, which is basically a miracle for a picky husky mix. Perfect for those post-hike summit shots.
The soak-and-tie method is dead simple—two minutes in a stream and it's ready. My dog's panting slowed noticeably on the switchbacks, and the bandana stayed damp for a solid hour. Perfect for summit selfies without the drama.
