Didn't think 1 inch of polyester web could hold up this well on our daily hikes, but it barely weighs anything on my dog's neck. The tightly woven material has zero fraying after two months of mud and brush.

Swapped out my old bulky collar for this one and my pup barely notices it's on. The tightly woven polyester web feels way sturdier than the weight suggests, and the 1-inch width still gives me a solid grip when she pulls.

My dog's 60 pounds and this 1-inch collar doesn't even register on him, he acts like he's wearing nothing. The polyester web is tightly woven but still soft, no rubbing on his neck after a full day of fetch and hiking.
